INDIANAPOLIS—Arcamed Inc., which makes trays for surgical instruments, is investing $1.4 million in new equipment for its assembly plant here and will add 71 jobs by 2016.
INDIANAPOLIS—Arcamed Inc. has leased a 15,000-square-foot building here to assemble titanium and stainless steel case-tray systems for surgical instruments. The company plans to hire 71 people and is investing $1.4 million in equipment to begin production.
NOBLESVILLE, IN—Nexxt Spine LLC, a manufacturer of spinal implants, is consolidating operations and moving its headquarters and assembly plant here. The company expects to add 44 jobs by 2018.
TIPTON, IN—Chrysler is investing $162 million at its assembly plant here to produce nine-speed automatic transmissions for front-wheel-drive vehicles. The project is expected to create 850 jobs.
FRANKLIN, IN—Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is planning to start commercial production of automotive turbochargers at its assembly plant here in 2014. Mitsubishi will install three automated assembly lines to produce the turbochargers.
