HOMER, MI—Brake systems manufacturer Brembo has opened a new, $115 million assembly plant here.

LANSING, MI—GM will build a new $162 million stamping plant at its Lansing Grand River assembly plant. The facility is expected to create 65 new jobs.

MUSKEGON, MI—Bold Furniture has purchased a second manufacturing facility here and plans to hire an additional 25 workers this year.

TROY, MI—Toyoda Gosei Co., a supplier to Toyota Motor Corp., plans to increase capital spending next fiscal year as carmakers roll out new models. The company expects capital spending to grow 12 percent to $418 million in the 12 months ending March 2014.
