More than 300 exhibitors will be displaying the latest products and services at the upcoming ASSEMBLY Show and 20 of those products have been nominated in five categories for the 2nd annual New Product of the Year contest.

The trend toward customization and personalization of mass products is showing no signs of slowing down. In addition to the automotive and pharmaceutical industries, this trend is gaining traction in food production. In the course of this mass customization, one of the primary challenges of this development with respect to personalized production currently lies in the fact that the consumer world is so closely connected to the world of production.

Zimmer Group has consistently and successfully oriented their mechatronic component portfolio towards Industry 4.0. These range from electric grippers for standard applications to motor spindles for chipping wood, plastic and metal, to high end products, such as high performance grippers with hybrid pneumatic-electric drives and a complete Human-Robot-Collaboration (HRC) kit.

For three days in October the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL will host thousands of manufacturing professionals and engineers who will have access to two important industry events - The ASSEMBLY Show and The QUALITY Show.

On Wednesday, October 23 and Thursday, October 24, editors from ASSEMBLY Magazine will lead five free guided tours of the ASSEMBLY Show exhibit hall to showcase key exhibits and discuss different products and solutions at each stop.

Leading industry companies have supported The ASSEMBLY Show, since its inception in 2013, and will continue to do so at the upcoming event taking place October 22-24, 2019 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
