NORTH CHARLESTON, SC—Boeing’s new assembly plant here is getting much of its power from a 2.6-megawatt solar panel array on its roof. The largest rooftop solar installation in the Southeast, the array generates enough power for 250 homes.
GREAT FALLS, MT—EMTEQ, a company specializing in technology for airline cabin comfort and power systems, officially opened its new assembly plant here. The company has already hired 20 employees and expects to hire 45 more by the end of the year.
