RUSSELLS POINT, OH—Honda will begin operating two new wind turbines at its transmission assembly plant here. The turbines are expected to provide about 10 percent of the plant’s electricity and help reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
BENTON HARBOR, MI—Whirlpool Corp. is moving production of its commercial front-load washing machines from Monterrey, Mexico, to Clyde, OH. Approximately 80 to 100 new jobs will be created in Clyde during the next three years to support the relocation.

HUDSON, OH—Toy maker Little Tikes Co. attributes its growth in recent years in large part to the company’s decision to make more of its toys in Northeast Ohio plant instead of overseas.
MARYSVILLE, OH—Honda will produce the new Acura NSX sports car at a new $70 million assembly plant adjacent to its existing facility here. The new factory is expected to employ approximately 100 people.
MASON, OH—Electronics assembler EPIC Technologies has relocated its operations from a 56,000-square-foot facility in Lebanon, OH, to a 74,000-square-foot assembly plant here. The company is also celebrating its 25th anniversary.
DAYTON, TN—Goodman Manufacturing, a manufacturer of air conditioning and heating equipment, will invest $2 million to expand its assembly plant here, with plans to create 200 jobs.
