AUGUSTA, GA—Textron Specialized Vehicles, the company behind E-Z-GO golf carts, plans to build a new assembly plant here and add up to 400 jobs. The $40 million facility will be built on a 238-acre site near the’ existing Augusta plant.
MACON, GA—Boeing will invest $80 million to expand its assembly plant here to produce 747 fuselage panels beginning in 2018. The jetmaker expects to employ up to 200 associates in three years.
TRENTON, GA—Vanguard National Trailer Corp. is building a new assembly plant here that eventually will employ 400 people and crank out 10,000 semi-trailers annually.

GAINESVILLE, GA—Kubota Manufacturing of America Corp. plans to increase production capacity the U.S. by building a 502,000-square-foot assembly plant and expanding its existing operations here.
MILLEN, GA—Wells Lighting, a Korea-based light manufacturer, will locate its first North American headquarters here. The company plans to create more than 200 jobs and invest $30 million into the project over the next two years.
ACWORTH, GA—Automotive supplier Inalfa Roof Systems will add 300 jobs over the next four years, just a year after opening its $17.1 million assembly plant.
ATLANTA—Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal visited with executives of British auto giant Jaguar Land Rover to discuss a possible U.S. factory during an economic development mission to the United Kingdom last month.
