ELLABELL, GA—Hyundai Motor Group’s Georgia supplier list has grown longer this month, as three additional auto parts suppliers have announced plans to establish assembly plants in the state.
SAVANNAH, GA—Seoyon E-HWA, a global automotive supplier, will invest $76 million to build a new assembly plant here to make interior and exterior auto parts.
LAFAYETTE, GA—Roper Corp., a Haier company and subsidiary of GE Appliances, will invest $118 million to expanding its assembly plant here. The project is expected to create 600 jobs in Walker County.
COMMERCE, GA—SK Innovation, a manufacturer of batteries for electric vehicles, has settled a legal dispute with rival LG Energy Solution, enabling SK to proceed with plans to expand its manufacturing operation here.
CALHOUN, GA—TEKLAS, a Turkish manufacturing company and supplier of parts for electric vehicles, is investing $6.5 million to open its first North American assembly plant and headquarters here.
