Waaree Starts Solar Module Production at US Assembly Plant
Company is first Indian company to establish a photovoltaic module factory in the United States.

BROOKSHIRE, TX—Waaree Solar Americas has begun production of photovoltaic modules at its new assembly plant here.
A subsidiary of Indian solar panel manufacturer Waaree Energies Ltd., Waaree Solar Americas has become the first Indian company to establish a photovoltaic module factory in the United States. Initially, the factory will have the capacity to produce enough solar panels each year to generate 1.6 gigawatts of electricity.
