The 11th Annual ASSEMBLY Show Kicks Off This Week in Rosemont, IL Offering Education

ROSEMONT, IL - Thousands of suppliers, buyers and users of assembly equipment in manufacturing plants are gathering this week for The ASSEMBLY Show at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The 11th annual trade show and conference is taking place through Thursday, October 26 and offers timely educational sessions, hundreds of exhibiting companies displaying products and services for manufacturing plants, dynamic keynote presentations and exciting networking functions. The event is co-located with The QUALITY Show and one badge gives access to both events.

The ASSEMBLY Show floor opened with the Taste of Rosemont Welcome Reception, a great networking event for attendees to meet exhibiting companies in a relaxed environment. Over 220 industry leading companies including Gold Sponsor PROMESS; Silver Sponsors ASG, Canvas Envision and Schunk; and Bronze Sponsors AMC, Schmidt Technology and UJIGAMI are showcasing their latest products on The ASSEMBLY Show Floor through Thursday, October 26.

Hundreds of engineers participated in 27 pre-conference workshops focusing on hot topics including Design for Automation, Lean Manufacturing, Robotic Arc Welding, AI Copilots, Attracting and Retaining a Great Workforce, Industry 4.0, Talent Strategy, Factory of the Future, Manufacturing Operations Platforms, Smart Factory, Automated Assembly, EV Battery Design, Augmented Reality,and Autonomous Mobile Robots. 

During the Taste of Rosemont Welcome Reception in the exhibit hall students from two local First Robotics high school teams demonstrated their robots for the attendees and networked with the vendors.

Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, October 25, 2023 - Exhibit Hall is open from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

·    Keynote Presentation (9:00 - 10:00 am) - Roger Koenigsknecht, Vice President of North American Connection Systems, Lear Corp. will discuss Leveraging Machine Data and Business Intelligence to Position Your People for Future Success. 

·    Learning Theater Presentations (10:00 am - 4:00pm) offer a unique opportunity for exhibitors to demonstrate their company's expertise in an area related to the latest technological advances in assembly. Companies presenting on Wednesday include INFICON, Cox 2M, Epson Robots, Pico MES, LACO Technologies, Starline a brand of Legrand, Acerta Analytics, Mountz Torque, LightGuide and the Manufacturing Millenial, and Kelly Professional & Industrial. Click Here for the schedule.
