MENOMONEE FALLS, WI—The union that represents most of Harley-Davidson’s manufacturing plant employees in Wisconsin says the company is out of touch with the workers by making the current contract talks more about an hourly wage than workforce issues.

MILWAUKEE, WI—Harley-Davidson, stung by new tariffs, said on Monday that it will shift some motorcycle production to factories outside the U.S. According to CBS News, the motorcycle manufacturer is shifting production of motorcycles heading to Europe from the U.S. to overseas factories because EU tariffs on its motorcycles exported from the U.S. have surged from 6 percent to 31 percent.
MILWAUKEE—Harley-Davidson has introduced its first electric motorcycle, the LiveWire, this month. The company is taking several dozen riders on a 30-city tour to test drive the bikes and provide feedback.
