KENTWOOD, MI—ETO Magnetic Corp., a manufacturer of electromagnetic actuators and solenoids for the auto industry and industrial applications, plans to hire 15 to 20 workers after it moves into a new assembly plant here this fall.
SENATOBIA, MS—ABB is locating a new assembly operation here for low-voltage electrical products. The project will create 200 new jobs by its third year of operation, with another 100 expected to be added by the fifth year.

CANONSBURG, PA—Universal Electric Corp., a manufacturer of power distribution systems, will invest $11.5 million to construct an 81,000-square-foot addition to its assembly plant here. The company plans to add 58 new jobs over the next three years.
ANDOVER, MA—Schneider Electric has opened its new North American research and development center here. The center is expected to house approximately 750 employees across all disciplines of Schneider Electric’s business segments.
