Engineers can learn how piezoelectric valves can be used to dispense lubricants during a free, hour-long webinar April 7.
Moderated by John Sprovieri, editor of ASSEMBLY, the webinar will be presented by Terry Dunbar, fluid jetting specialist for Nordson EFD.
Noncontact jet-dispensing saves time by eliminating Z-axis movement of the dispense head. This webinar will provide an overview of piezoelectric jetting valves and how they can be used to apply lubricants in various assembly processes.
During the webinar, engineers will learn:
*What piezoelectric valves are and how they work.
*The advantages and limitations of jet-dispensing.
*How to determine if your lubricant is a good candidate for jet-dispensing.
*What to do if a lubricant cannot be jet-dispensed.
The webinar will be broadcast live from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Eastern time. The presentation will run approximately 45 minutes. A live, 15-minute question-and-answer session will follow. Engineers who cannot attend the live broadcast will be able to view the on-demand.
