GREENVILLE, SC—Isuzu North America Corp. will invest $280 million to establish a new assembly plant here to produce electric commercial vehicles for the North American market. The company has purchased a 1,000,000 square foot facility in Greenville County that it is converting into a state-of-the-art assembly plant.
Mercedes is testing humanoid robots at its assembly plants in Berlin, Germany, and Kecskemét, Hungary, and the automaker plans to bring them to other factories in the near future.
