Automated Coating System Improves Production of Battery Electrodes

SOUTHFIELD, MI—Dürr has introduced a new iteration of its GigaCoater system for automated manufacturing of battery electrodes.

The system coats both sides of an electrode substrate simultaneously. It can accommodate substrate widths of up to 1,200 millimeters.
