LOCKPORT, NY—The auto parts assembly plant here has survived lots of change. The complex switched affiliations from GM to Delphi and then back GM in 2009. Today, the plant is humming, and workers and managers are more optimistic than ever.
BROOKLYN, NY—MakerBot, a manufacturer of desktop 3D printers, will hold a job fair here March 15 to fill more than 50 job openings, including at least 10 engineering and production positions.
CLYDE, NY—Parker Aerospace and GE Aviation are building an assembly plant here to make fuel nozzles for commercial aircraft engines. The joint venture will employ approximately 300 people.
