QUERETARO, Mexico—Canada’s BRP Can-Am has completed production of its first electric motorcycle at its assembly plant in Querétaro, Mexico. This marks Can-Am’s return to motorcycle manufacturing after a nearly 40-year hiatus, with the launch of two all-electric models: the Origin dual-sport and the Pulse roadster. The first production bike, a 2025 Can-Am Origin #0001, rolled off the assembly line to much fanfare.
Can-Am celebrated the achievement on social media, stating:
“Today, we celebrate the first Can-Am electric motorcycles coming off the assembly line. Built on 80+ years of powersports ingenuity, these bikes mark our return to two-wheel heritage and bring new energy to the global EV market. Can-Am motorcycles are officially here!”
