PARIS—The 90th edition of the Mondial de l'Auto currently underway in the City of Lights features a special exhibit that offers visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the electric car production process. La Fabrique de l'Électrique (‘The Electric Factory”) is designed to be a fun, educational immersive space dedicated to EV technology.
The goal of the exhibit is to make the public award of the key challenges of electromobility and the major transformation underway in the French automotive industry. Topics include everything from the extraction of raw materials to battery recharging alternatives. Other technologies featured range from electric traction motors and hydrogen fuel cells to electrical architectures and power electronics.
Numerous automakers and suppliers are participating in the unique display, including Forvia, Renault, Stellantis, STMicroelectronics and Valeo.
