FLINT, MI—General Motors announced today that it has resumed operations at two of its assembly plants located in Texas and Michigan. Production at these facilities was temporarily halted last week due to supply chain disruptions caused by Hurricane Helene.
The automaker had suspended work at its Flint Assembly plant in Michigan and Arlington Assembly plant in Texas on Thursday and Friday. On Monday, GM confirmed that operations at the Flint plant had already restarted, with the Arlington facility expected to follow later the same day.
GM's Arlington plant produces the Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade, while the Flint Assembly plant manufactures the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
