SOUTHFIELD, MI—Lear Corp. has been named the 2023 Supplier of the Year by General Motors.
This marks the 23rd time that Lear has received the award in the 32 years that GM has been presenting it. Lear was recognized for its exceptional performance in 2023, which included support for multiple GM product launches, as well as investments in new facilities and collaboration on upcoming product launches.

Lear was also recognized for its consistent quality. The company has received the Supplier of the Year award every year since 2017.

GM presents the Supplier of the Year award to global suppliers that exceed the company’s expectations and provide consumers with innovative technologies and high-quality products. Recipients are selected by a cross-functional team based on their performance in areas such as quality, supply chain, cost, innovation and safety.
