EL MARQUÉS, Mexico—Nexteer Automotive has broken ground on its new Mexico Technical Center here.
The new facility is part of the company’s strategy to expand its local engineering capabilities and better serve its OEM customers in Mexico. The 8,350 square meter technical center will house Nexteer’s electric power steering and steering column innovation laboratory, as well as pre-production prototype and product validation capabilities. The company expects to complete the facility in 2026.
