PORTLAND—Next month’s Formula E race here will be sponsored by Southwire Co., a leading supplier of cable, wire and electrical components. The e-prix on June 24 will be round 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Other stops on the circuit include Berlin, Cape Town, London, Mexico City, Monaco, Rome and Sao Paulo.
The race will feature 22 drivers representing automakers such as Jaguar, Mahindra, Maserati, McLaren, Nissan, Porsche and Stellantis. It will mark the U.S. debut of the series’ all-new GEN3 car, which is the fastest, lightest, most powerful and efficient electric race car ever made.
