BATESVILLE, IN—IKIO LED Lighting LLC is planning to build a new assembly plant and warehouse facility here.
The company, which makes LED lighting for residential, industrial, commercial and outdoor applications, already operates six assembly plants worldwide. The company has a combined capacity of 10 million fixtures annually.
The plant is expected to will bring 30 jobs to the area in the next five years.
Construction on the interior of the existing shell building will begin immediately and is set to be completed within 12 months. The plant will include approximately 2,600 square feet of office space and 47,800 square feet of warehouse space.
