LINCOLN, AL—Honda Motor Co. is looking to hire more than 100 full-time production workers at its assembly plant here.
Production associates assemble vehicles and earn between $15.25 and $16.85 an hour, depending on the shift. Experienced candidates have the opportunity to earn more, but previous experience is not required and on-the-job training will be provided.
Employees will assemble parts on an assembly line and work with their hands to move carts and lift and carry parts. They climb in and out of vehicles frequently, and they bend, stoop and squat while continuously standing to complete tasks. They also work around moving equipment such as conveyors and forklifts.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, be able to work overtime when needed, and be willing to train on the job.
The plant assembles the Odyssey minivan, Passport and Pilot SUVs, the Ridgeline pickup, and the V-6 engines that power them.
