MCDONOUGH, GA–Sangsin Technology America, a leading global brake friction materials and replacement parts manufacturer, will invest $20 million in its first North American manufacturing facility located here and create 200 jobs. The new facility will encompass 220,000 square feet, as Sangsin expands into the heavy duty brake systems industry in North America.
Founded in 1975, Sangsin opened its doors as the Sangsin Chemical Industrial Company, and focused exclusively on manufacturing brake friction products. Today, Sangsin makes friction products for both domestic and overseas companies in more than 90 countries, and is now Korea’s largest brake manufacturer.
