DAYTON, TN—STULZ Air Technology Systems Inc., a German manufacturer of HVAC equipment, will invest $2 million to build a new assembly plant here that could eventually employ 250 people.

Headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, STULZ operates ten other production facilities across the globe, including its North American headquarters in Frederick, MD.

“STULZ chose to open a manufacturing facility in Dayton because of its outstanding and highly skilled workforce, along with the great business-friendly climate of Dayton, Rhea County, and the state of Tennessee,” says Andy Tuthill, STULZ’s vice president of manufacturing operations.
