The Exlar FTP215 high-force electric rod-style press actuator is designed exclusively for press applications. It produces a maximum force of 36 tons, making it an ideal replacement for hydraulic cylinders. Based on planetary roller screw technology, the actuator offers very high force in a very small package. This enables machine builders to meet ever-increasing performance demands, while minimizing maintenance and downtime. Stroke lengths range from 6 to 24 inches. The actuator is capable of speeds of up to 13.8 inches per second.
