EAST COUNTY, CA-A fire broke out at an assembly plant near El Cajon, CA, that produces metal orthopedic implants. The fire occurred March 18 at Precision Metal Products in its 92,000-square-foot production building. The cause was still being investigated yesterday, but it appeared to be accidental.
