BMW Manufacturing Co. is considering another green source of energy for its plant. The Greer plant, which gets well over half of the energy needed to generate electricity from methane gas at a landfill nine miles away, is partnering with Gold Ring Power LLC to study using wind energy at its campus off Interstate 85 and State 101.
