The modular, automated assembly cell was purchased by Bespak, a British manufacturer of medical devices. It was the 12th assembly cell purchased by Bespak since Mikron introduced the machine in 1996.
Mikron says all 300 cells are still operating, and it estimates that 40 million parts are assembled daily by the machines.
