LISLE, IL—Members of the UAW have ratified a four-year contract with truck maker Navistar International Corp. that will provide workers with a combination of wage increases and bonuses, while maintaining a two-tier wage scale for new hires and veteran employees.
WINDSOR, ON—A $2 billion investment by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles into the development and production of its next-generation minivan will mean the largest retooling project for the Windsor Assembly Plant since the 1980s. The investment includes more than 860 new robots, 800 feet of flexible production lines, and retooling approximately 80 percent of its general assembly area.

DEARBORN, MI—Ford will add 1,550 new jobs at four of its U.S. manufacturing plants to accelerate the production of F-150. Approximately 900 jobs will be added at the company’s Kansas City assembly plant, 150 jobs will be added to its axle factory in Sterling, MI, and 500 will be added at the stamping and assembly plants in Dearborn, MI.
