Industry 4.0 Starts on the Plant Floor

Most, if not all manufacturers big and small are embarking upon the digital transformation journey – even though it is estimated that 70-84% of the attempts are likely to fail.  Exceptions aside, all companies must try – or become irrelevant. To increase chances for success, Industry 4.0 initiatives should always begin on the plant floor.
